Who We Are
The LA 101 Guide is the product of collaboration between LA Forward and Inclusive Action for the City. We are grateful to Christopher Noxon for the illustrations and Carolyn Figel for the animated video introduction.
The LA Forward family of organizations is devoted to fighting for a Los Angeles that is fair and flourishing for everyone. The LA Forward Institute is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and the educational arm of LA Forward. It makes local government accessible and advances political accountability through public education, strategic research, and leadership development.
Inclusive Action for the City is a community development organization whose mission is to bring people together to build strong, local economies that uplift low-income urban communities through advocacy and transformative economic development initiatives.
